Tooth Inspection
- Healthy teeth should be creamy white with no signs of deviation in color, roughness, or other irregularities.
- It may be challenging to determine whether an abnormality in the tooth surface is a developmental defect or an early cavity. In both cases, the child is at high risk for ECC and should be referred to a dental expert for further evaluation.
