Policies for clinician reimbursement vary widely from state to state. Clinicians planning to apply fluoride varnish should consult with their state health department regarding current coding requirements and reimbursement rates.
Medicaid now reimburses for Medicaid eligible children in ALL 50 states. There are a number of states that include additional funding for oral examinations and other services.
