Fluoride Varnish Ordering and State Specific Information
All 50 state Medicaid Programs are now reimbursing primary care clinicians for applying fluoride varnish to young children's teeth. The following materials are designed to assist clinicians who intend to offer this service through their practice.
Varnish Training Module and Material
This module provides primary care clinicians with the necessary theoretical and practical information to begin applying varnish, including a review of ECC, risk assessment, fluoride varnish, application technique, and safety. Completing this module is required for reimbursement in many states.
